Janie Morgan-Wood

Janie Morgan-Wood is founder and chair of the Leicester Textiles Trust which aims to celebrate local textiles history, ignite innovation and deliver the ‘right’ skills. After initial success in textile design and manufacturing, Janie focused on a career in post-16 education, gaining higher degrees at De Montfort and Leicester Universities and becoming Director of Studies at Gateway College where she combined this post with national roles. Janie left to develop her interest in textiles and associated educational skills delivery.
