Leicester lived and living / Deep Diversity

27/04/2015
11:10   -   11:30

The discovery of King Richard III gave the opportunity for all local people to feel part of this special moment, and to enjoy living in a place that hit the headlines around the world. It highlighted Leicester as a place with its own “deep history”, as well as a modern story enriched by the different heritages of all the people who have made their homes here in recent times. Sarah and Karen will explore the importance of heritage, and the contribution it makes to our sense of place and identity, pride and confidence, both as individuals and as a city.
