DESCRIPTION:TEDxLeicester returns on Wednesday 26th October 2016.\n\nThis will be the largest TEDxLeicester ever with 500 TEDsters expected in 2016!\n\nWe are very excited to announce that it will be taking place once again at the award winning state-of-the-art Curve Theatre located in Leicester’s thriving and innovative cultural quarter.\n\nWith three months until TEDxLeicester 2016: #EveryJourneyMatters\, Early bird tickets are officially on sale!\n\nWe promise to bring you an incredible day with a host of engaging speakers and performers at the state-of-the-art Curve Theatre in Leicester. As always\, we want TEDxLeicester to be a platform for building a community of like-minded\, influential people who can engage and support each other’s endeavours in the coming year. If you have plans on the 26th of October 2016\, it’s time to postpone them!\n\nOur theme for TEDxLeicester 2016 is #EveryJourneyMatters - “Every Journey Matters”:-To journey with Leicester\, however briefly and whenever is to contribute to and be part of this amazing city’s achievement – TEDxLeicester invites you to a day’s journey with Leicester on October 26th 2016…\n\nEverybody living in Leicester\, passing through and those who once lived here and have moved to other corners of the globe contribute to our city’s vibrancy\, diversity and rich heritage. We are building a record of community cohesion\, successful business enterprise\, excellence in sports\, science and technology and a vibrant creative arts and media industry. We are a community that celebrates diversity and culture whilst striving for harmony\, a community that works together with mutual respect. We are learning to live together as a community with a shared “Leicester” identity that unifies our cultures and backgrounds rather than being separated by them.\n\nLeicester’s journey is your journey. We guarantee this is the cheapest you will be able to purchase tickets\, (50% discount off standard ticket).\n \tConcessionary tickets at £25 are also available for certified students\, OAPs and those on DWP benefits. (Proof of ID required)\n \tOur Standard tickets are available too at £50.\n \tThis year our special limited Friends of TEDxLeicester tickets at £75 have evolved into an exclusive package.
